Chrissie originally hails from the far North of New Zealand. She has been an intrepid traveller and explorer for over 40 years, having been fortunate to have worked in the Airline Industry in Auckland, Dubai and Sydney.
Chrissie has a particular passion for Europe. Affectionately known as an Italophile, she travels there regularly to seek out new adventures, enjoying local cuisine, history and to pursue her love of hiking.
Her lust for sampling new cultures (and cuisines!) has seen her spend time on six Continents and she says she’s not done yet.
Chrissie considers her many beloved trips to work in an Orphanage in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia …Exotic. Lakes, forests, mountains, ancient ruins, aplenty. Wow!
